Yasuko Ichinomiya
Hello. I'm a rostered psychotherapist offering telehealth sessions in Vermont, under the supervision of Dr. Takuya Minami, PhD.
My work is grounded in compassion and curiosity—I believe that each person's story holds the key to their healing.
I bring experience from community mental health settings working with artists, creatives, and people of color, along with a background as a college professor and Japanese language teacher. As a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and bilingual in Japanese and English, I'm passionate about supporting clients through life's challenges with cultural awareness and empathy.
My approach integrates:
-
Psychodynamic therapy
-
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Internal Family Systems (parts work)
-
Mindfulness and somatic approaches
-
EMDR Therapy (in training)
In our sessions, I create a calm and respectful space where you can explore your emotions, reconnect with your inner strength, and begin to move forward with greater peace and self-understanding.
